Frogs never drink. They absorb water from their surroundings by a process known as “osmosis.”

Your Koi might outlive you. The maximum life span of Koi has been documented to be over 200 years in exceptional cases. the average life span of these large, colourful fish, however, is 25 to 35 years.

Butterflies need to warm up their engines. Like airplanes, butterflies need to warm up before they can fly. They can’t fly if their body temperature is less than 86 degrees fahrenheit.

The biggest dragonflies. The largest dragonflies are South American giant damselflies. Their wingspan is up to 7 inches (19 centimeters) and their bodies are 5 inches (12 centimeters) long.

It’s not tasty unless you stand in it. Butterflies taste with their hind feet.

Spider wars. There are an average of 50,000 spiders per acre in green areas. Essential to the balance of nature, spiders annually consume a hundred times their number in insects.
